ok....here ya go
what is needed......
#10 self tapping 3/4inch screws with washers
screwdriver...preferably a power one
something to cut plastic...i used a hack saw then sanded the edges down
a jack....i used a 1/2 ton jack
pieces of wood....if your low like i am i needed to drive up on them before i could even fit the jack!
C clamps....i only used three of them

1. pull out of the well packaged box
2. inspect for any damages (its bendable plastic there really should be anything wrong with it)
3. turn your wheels all the way to one side. the spoiler is about 9 inches longer then the bumber and you are going to cut them. center the front of the spoiler....there are three holes in the center and obvioulsy the center hole is the center of the spoiler
4. once the center is found...line it up with the center of your bumber...on the gt i used the front bottom grill...there are two slats and i eyeballed the center inbetween these slats ;) then clamp in place...there is room inbetween the supports and the bumber to fit the top part of the clamp up there
5. clamp the side with the tires facing in make a mark where the end of the bumber is.....you will also have to make cuts in the spoiler for the hooks....what i did however was cut the ends a little shorter then the bumber then made marks for the hooks....once the hooks are cut out the spoiler will slide back into postion and the spoiler will reach the end of the bumber
http://www.nitrousworld.com/pictures/topsidespoiler.JPG
6. once marks are made unclamp spoiler and cut the end piece off and cut the peice for the hook.....then measure the other side of the bumber with the peice you just cut off and cut the other side
7. after the side is cut...center again....and clamp into place make marks for the opposite hook
http://www.nitrousworld.com/pictures/bottomspoiler.JPG
8. clamp back into place and check to make sure everything is where it needs to be.
9. jack car up on one side....then starting screwing the spoiler directly into the bottom of the bumber....start with the front and work your way to the side that is jacked up
10. repeat step 9 for other side...i did not use the factor holes in the spoiler i screwed directly into a new surface. when your going around the side you may need to bend the spoiler to make it fit right
http://www.nitrousworld.com/pictures/bottombumber.JPG
11. lower the car back down and you are all done....all in all your looking at probably 2-3 hours of work...this is a guess because i had to do it in steps over the course of three days.....damn work always getting in the way!!

nice write-up. the center section looks great! but the side section looks like it's sticking in a bit too much. is it possible to follow the contour of the bumper more closely as it wraps around to the side?

you have to follow the bottom of the bumber...the picture is a little decieving....if you pull it out anymore it looks stupid...i tried it!

Good install. IMO if you pushed it back a little (so it's not so close to the front) you'd delete the appearance of the insides being too far in. (you'll have to trim a little more off the sides then too).

very good write up easy install

thanks guys....yeah it was easy....i like it where it is because the lip sticks out a little so it would look a little wierd under more....not to mention it wouldnt help that much with aerodynamics of it...not that there is all that much but it would be beneficial to have it where it is.

Is it me, or does your car look more European now. It's a German look, something akin to a BMW. How did the sides of the GLS look? I have to wonder if there is a way to improve the sides for the GT? If someone with a GT could post a pic of this part of the fender for me to get a good look at, this would be very helpful. Something from the ground level angling upward from about 3-5ft maybe?

only1db, could you get me a couple of pics of the corners as well?

I would like to see the angle with which the spoiler is pointing on the sides and how it is curving with the corner of the bumper.

I would like to see this on a GLS cuz the bumper mount areas are different. The GT is flat across where the GLS has that upward indentation...

Well, it looks ALOT better on a GT I think.....The bumper bottom being flat definitely makes a big difference. The GLS upward indentation makes it hard to match something to it but it still looks good on a GLS..

thanks super....yeah its a good product and durable! i've smacked it around a couple of times yesterday....on the bottom side thankfully! but it bends nicely! but stil ridgid enough to have a functional purpose

TC...definitely more european! the more i look at it the more i like it!! oh we are getting frances at the moment...the pics are going to have to wait till it passes.... :headshake (i know i have no room to complain but i am!)

Nice install. Looks very easy. The black on black works well. I think if I put one on a white car it might look a little off but if painted it might look pretty good.

Actually not :) I have one but I have not put it on yet, it is a material similar to what I had on my Camaro years ago, my car was white & I painted it white, I spent hours touching up the rock hits.. A black spoiler would look cool on a white car :) It would not be obvious but once you notice it it would look cool :) my .02 worth

While the '04+ cars don't have any support for the center of the lip, it shouldn't be difficult to add supports in-line with the others in the stock grill. The lip should look pretty slick installed in such a manner.

nope...it will look nasty with out the middle part...TRUST me!! i was the first one to every had it and tried it on my mom's gls 02 and it looks horrible...plus the 04 bumber curves more than the xd....the xd gt has a more square front bumber.

no to mention that the spoiler has holes in it for moutning points...so this would show through
