Ok last night I went shopping with my girlfriend and we used her car..I came home at about 10pm and I went to lock my car doors with the keyless remote and I went upstaires to help un pack the food..Well about 4 hours later I went to go home and my car and house keys keys were NO WERE to be found,my car was parked in the street and if its not moved in the driveway by 3am the police will give you a ticket..Well my girlfriend and I searched for 2 hours and I was like **** this were are they?!!..Well 3am came along and I didnt want to get a ticket so I put a "car disabled" sign on my car..Well I woke up this morning after geting about 1 hour of sleep and I went outside to NO TICKET..Wheww...Ok the search was on!!..In the meantime my father brought me my spare key cuz I had to go out for a lil..When I came back to my girls house I was SO MAD that my keys were gone..So I told the kids to look and thats when my girlfriends son says.."Rob I have your keys I hid them last night to play a joke on u"...I was NO WAY!!..Then he went and got them out of his draw.

Standard female response: "aww"

well, at least the little kid likes you. that probably scores a few points with your girl.

I see someone already gave the "oh how cute" response, now give the little guy a talk about taking and hiding other peoples stuff.

LOL The first thing I said when I read that was, 'aww'. I hate that us females are so predictable...

The fact that he's playing silly games instead of being straightforward about what he wants leads me to believe that he's being raised solely by females. No offense meant, but it just sounds like something a girl would do.

Are you sure your girlfriend didn't put him up to it?

I don't know if I'd say aw. I would think it's a nice gesture by my son but, ummm....no, that's not really cool or nice. Who is he gonna do that to next? Someone you really DON'T wanna have stay over - that's for sure!! :)

I don't think the kids actions have anything to do with being raised by a woman. I think they are purely from the mind of a child and it is the type of things all children do no matter if he is raised by a woman, a man, or even both parents. Besides, you act like all men are straight forward on what they want and women aren't. Get real, men can be just as devious.

Also, I highly doubt his gf would have put the kid up to it knowing he could have gotten a parking ticket. Not to mention the fact that she sat there and helped look for hours and even in the morning. If she was in on it, she could have just acted like she found them when he came back. Besides, i am sure all she had to do was ask and he would have stayed.

It just struck me as a funny thing for a boy to do, not that there's anything wrong with that. Usually, like most of us adult (physically at least) males, boys more straightforward and less manipulative when they want something.

Ok guys this topic is out of hand like most of the topics on the off topic section..I THOUGHT he did it because he didnt want me to go home but I spoke with him and he said he did it just to play a joke on me and he was going to give them back to me but he fell a sleep and 4got..LoL..He does not do things like that and I told him it was not nice and he can not do things like that and he said ok im sorry and when he says sorry for something he does not do it again..He is a very good kid and raised VERY WELL.

Ah, well at least he said sorry and that it won't happen again - but who knows....maybe you secretly want it to happen again :poke: :ssst: ;)
