My car at the dealer today

So I get my car to the dealer for the recall and to get 2nd gear checked, so I have to go for a test drive with the service guy as we aproach my car, His Eyes almost POP out of his face then the questions start first was the Exhaust then What are the gauges for and then about the 2 switches on the dash (Nitrous) I said the one was for a Fan for the amplifier I had and the second one was for the neon under the car but I had to remove it, The he goes it looks Like Nitrous switches so I laugh Who would be stupid enough to put Nitrous in a Hyundai(ME :D ). So will see what kind of BS I get about my syncros He does agree that there is something wrong :eek:

with the nitrous....you are almost guaranteed a problem... :confused: good luck with everything

Well the Whole system is out of the car all I have left is the 2 switches

The recall is either for the fuel cut off valve in case it rolls over it cuts off the fuel, or for the fuel pump itself which cuts off in hot conditions and they have to put in a new pump like they did on my wifes car, and they are gonna do on mine this Friday.

Good, I'm glad to hear that it is the fuel pump, my car has been almost stalling at red lights...guess I need to go ahead and bite the bullet and take the car in, just got to find the time

Well they have to order new syncros and a new 2nd gear it has to go back in a couple of weeks It did it from day 1 so after 19K miles I guess it ****ed everything up
