First off,
I'd like to thank SuperGLS and only1db for their efforts and assistance.
The group buy price will be $87.50 shipped to your door via UPS, the US 48 states only. 10 spoilers are available for this gb, and it starts now and ends 09/19/2004 at 11:59pm. Payments are to be made via PayPal to orders@thefocusshop.com . To assist other board members on availability,
please post to this thread you have completed a purchase. Members will be able to view the number of purchases made. Additionally, The Focus Shop will contribute up to $50 to the admin on behalf of those participating in the group buy.
Should anyone have further questions, feel free to post here as well.
Thanks again!
Chalon

For those without a PayPal account, a money order will be fine as long as the mailing envelope is postmarked by the end of the buy.
Chalon

So this doesnt work on an 04 gt hatch?? I dont mind the gap across the front if thats the only problem. If the rest of it fits, then iim in.

No one has yet to install one on an 04GT. Yes, there would be the gap, and the spoiler would have to be supprted here somehow...a couple of bolts probably.

Depending on how flexible it is, you may not need bolts in the area where the gap is. My EGR had the gap there with no problems.

 Just to make sure the blondeness isn't kicking in.....the black XD is a GLS & the white is a GT.....right? Also only1db..... what did you use to lower your car with I got H&R and am worried about clearence issues(got some relly steep driveways near work and home)...don't want to get this and knock it off..... And good look been thinking of gettin in on it.....

You're backwards. The Black car is a GT. The white car is a GLS.

he just clamped it in two parts of the bumper just to show us how it would look like it. if you look at pics of the white XD you will see teh clamp in the lower right hand side. that's all

only1db
09-09-2004, 12:28 PM
yeah just simply clamped

clearance is as follows....my bumber with a 2.75 approx. drop is 6.75 inches from the ground...with the spoiler it is 4.25 from the ground....i've been down some somewhat steep inclines...and have yet to rub it...except when i was backing out and i didnt go slow enough and the springs compressed slightly, but it with stood the bump and is fine :D

90250...i used Tein Coilovers for the 03 Tiburon here is the DIY! (http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2281)

Jlivan, you can always get it painted a local shop, that way you can ensure the best color match.

yup #10 self tapping screws with washers is what i used. :D

white with a black lip would look nice!

In some respects, it's better unpainted b/c it's easier to maintain. I have to agree white with black should look very nice. You have plenty of black trim to pull it off and not think twice about painting it. And like SuperGLS said, you can always get it painted.

With the gb ended, I would like to thank SuperGLS, only1db, and pancit for working with The Focus Shop. I look forward to seeing pancit's pics, as he has an 04. If the interest spikes up and there is interest in another GB, just drop me a line....Chalon

Recieved spoiler lip today in perfect condition. It looks great.

As for putting it on, that won't be done for awhile, there's alotta things that need to be done first. My friend and I put the spoiler lip up underneath the bumper and its gonna be a perfect fit. The sides are gonna have to be shaved but the actually spacing in the middle of the bumper and the lip is not bad at all. There should be no problem fitting this spoiler lip on an 04.

Thx again for the gb.
