So I'm farting around with some picture ideas and I hit up google image search for Hyundai Elantra. I found a review of a 2004 model on a Russian website, and while the car didn't have a stereo, in the spot underneath the dash, in front of the shifter, there's a coin holder:

Check out the bag-holder in the back of the seats (http://www.autocentre.ua/ac/03/46/images/05/HYUNDIMG_3094.jpg), too. More pics here (http://www.autocentre.ua/ac/?id=5743).

Apparently the taillights are different in other countries... I'd noticed this on Aussie cars, but not Latin cars :) This page (http://www.km77.com/marcas/hyundai/elantra/0primera/galeria.asp) has a nice rear shot. Not sure if I prefer the tails I have or the ones there! Not that it matters much :P

In Norway, it looks like Elantras have fangs (http://www.dinside.no/km_bilde/3/26983.jpg). Are those headlight cleaners?

In Russia, The rear seat has three headrests (http://www.espot.ru/imgpv/auto_moto/hyundai/hyundai_elantra/hyundai_elantra_005.jpg).

And in Korea, among other things our cars come with handsfree cellphone hookups (http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2352).

Man, it's a shame they cut so much stuff out of the US market Elantras :P

Base model has a normal pull up antenna, Elite model has power antenna.

Also, the Aussie elantras have 3 rear headrests, but I took my center one out because I find it obstructs my rear vision too much.

Finally, with the Norway fangs, not sure what the hell they are! :D I went to the norway hyundai site and it didn't look like the new ones have them so perhaps they are aftermarket fangs.

Also something interesting is in Norway they have a 2.0 diesel engine!

What would a diesel engine be like to drive in an Elantra? I ask seriously, I have no clue what that would be like?

The bag holder on the back of the seat is nice......a little high, but i would find it useful.

That's some cool stuff. But I wonder what the poeple on other countries think about the options on our cars.

We should get a group buy of Korean XDNymph door panels going. Somehow :P
What's that button above the mirror controls for?

I already asked kSpec about getting the tweeter surrounds as well as the chrome parking brake button. David said that most likely they couldn't be bought as individual pieces, and therefore buying them wouldn't be as cheap, or very smart (buying a whole door panel for a little bit of chrome).

Did he look? I know you can get the U.S. tweeter covers alone from the dealer for ~$6.00. You can order the buttons by themselves for less than $2 (I have ordered them before for the SF). I think it should be possible.

Try asking on the Q&A boards. That's just what he told me early on.
