I have a 2005 GT that will be due a timing belt change in the near future.
If I have an independant garage do the work, will my warrany be affected ?

AS LONG AS THEY DON'T F-IT up. Anything they screw up/touch will not be covered under Hyundai warranty. Please be sure to use an OEM belt as alot of aftermarket belts do not have the correct teeth shape.

keep the reciepts for the work done as well just in case you do need to have a warranty repair and the dealership wants proof

not as long as you dont change the exhaust and keep it looking as origanal as possible your good

What the hell are you talking about? He's asking about a TIMING BELT install, he mentioned nothing about modfiying his car.
