Side Molding

On my 04 GT the side molding is BLACK *also front bumper molding etc* but on GLS's and what not it matches the color of the car and loots all glossy.

do dealerships sell the side molding pre painted? or just some generic color and you have a body shop paint it?

anyone got part #'s of the side molding and front and rear bumper pieces and mebe some insite on how to remove em?

Ok ALL GT's come with the black molding,if you want to paint them you will have to do it yourself or have it done by a bodyshop.

Yeppers, all GT's come with the black molding. I believe also the size of the back doors is a little different so I'm not sure that if you buy GLS molding and try to put it on the car that it would match up with the holes or the sizes. Some people have painted them or in my case, I completely removed them when I had the car repainted. I can't stand those stupid things. But then, if you replace the ones on the door, you are stuck with the ones on the bumper.....what a catch 22 huh.

Well if you get a body kit the that would take care of the front and rear bumpers and I'm not sure how the black moldings would look painted because they're textured plastic not a paintable surface. If anyone has painted them I would like to see how it looks
