This question goes out to anyone who knows how much it usually costs to install a body kit. I am going to be saving up for the Fuzion body kit for my 05, and I am just wondering what kinda amount to expect. Is there usually alot of complications when installing body kits that are meant for that vehicle? I will be saving for the kit, the install, and the paint as I am painting it sunset pearl. It will be a while before I get the cash saved up, but I just want to ballpark it now.

^^^ That's for a very ghetto, full of imperfections and no skill attached to it, installed by illegal aliens.
It's more than that for a real install.

If you are getting the whole car painted your looking at about a thousand dollars for a good paint job. Plus the cost of the kit itself and installation. So probably 2 grand. Unless you are familiar with body work you could install the kit yourself and save some money. It's time consuming But not too hard to do(with a couple of guys) I helped put on 3 kits on 3 different cars. A 3000 gt, a cavalier and a tiburon. the gt was by far the hardest to install because of a crappy kit.

^^Exactly what he said.
You should at least try and fit the kit yourself to save as much as possible. Getting it painted is going to be the biggest dent in your wallet...if you get it done right.

ok, so it is possible for the kit to just fit on, with our major issues is some cases is what u are telling me. Cause if thats the case, I might be able to get the install free and the paint pretty cheap as my friends dad does it. hmmmm the pondering continues

Your best bet is to save enough for the kit and order it first, from there you can inspect the kit and see how bad fitment is....
easier to save up how much you need for paint + install that way.

Assume what? lol
If someone pays 800$ for fitting+paint I wouldnt want to see the end result...

Well, the paint job on my kit was excellent. Also with the fitment issues he had I'm suprised at the price. It all came out looking wonderful. I've had it for more than a year and the paint is still going strong without a flaw. I guess it just depends on who all you know. Not how much it costs.

I dunno man but judging by your pics and the chips on your front bumper I wouldn't say it was the best job you could get...

I can understand that. But as an FYI all the chips on my front bumper are from hitting it on stuff. It's 3" from the ground and I don't drive nice sometimes...that's why I'm going to get the tib front bumper ASAP. The rest of the kit is fine.

Anyways... lol..... if you don't have storage ask a friend if they might have some extra space for you. either way your best way to get an effective estimate is to look at the product first hand to see how bad the fitment is. Otherwise expect to pay upwards of 900+ for a QUALITY paint job...unless you know people

wow...$900 is all it takes for a quality paint job these days? last time i checked, that got you the mid range job at maaco.
If you like orange peal and fish eyes, then sure, get the $900 maaco spray and pray special.
If you want it to look good, expect to pay $900 for paint and supplies. Labor extra.
