but...when someone is selling something, and you offer them an certain amount of money for it, and they take your offer and you send your money, don't you think its wrong for them to ask for more while your money is in transit to their house just because someone else offered them more after they closed a deal with you?

ouch, sorry about making that offer to **. I didnt know you had already sent the money. pretty much, if someone agrees to accept your price, then they should make good on their word.
on ebay, its a different story, because there is a set bid length, but I think ** will just have to bite the bullet on this one

That's some hardcore BS. If you close a deal and the check's in the mail, it over, done, finished end of story.

that would only mean that ** is not to be trusted for future transactions....

if the offer was accepted, then it was accepted....

it's pretty crappy that ** would change his decision after the agreement.
