The exterior things that changed between the XD 2001-2003 and the XD2 2004-2006 were: The front bumper skin, grille, hood, headlight assemblies (and fog assemblies on the GT), rear bumper skin (on the sedan), tail lights (just lens style on the HB, the entire assembly on the sedan) trunk lid on sedan.

Basically, they're identical on the exterior sides and tops, just different on the front and rear ends.

Other than that, you can use any exterior parts from an XD on an XD2 and vice versa.
