not sure I too just past 60k and was wanting to know what all should be done. I feel confident enough to swap the water pump and timing belt. But is there anything else that has to be done?

when i did the 60K service, my upstate ny hyundai dealer told me that there is no need to change the water pump. He said that it will last to 120K. So i said okay.
The 60k service calls for
timing belt, and the 3 acc belts
Replace spark plugs,
Air filter
Run some kind of FI Cleaner through the system
Rotate tires
Check this that and the other. and thats all i can remember... the charge you for the things that need to be replaced.

Since I already did the plugs and other stuff I should just get the timing and acc belts replaced than! I am at 58,400.

$1200? Even if you are getting everything on the manual, I don't think it would cost $1200. Maybe, they are trying to rip you off by doing something more than needed. My previous XD 01, which was totaled a couple of years ago, got 60,000 service including everything written on the manual, and cost about $600 at a dealership. Let them do what the manual says only.

they quoted me 1200ish for everything in the service manual thing
it was rediculous.
idk why
does it go on the record of your car that you didnt bring it in for warrantee service?

This is why many on here have broken this service down and done the timing/accesory belt before the rest of the 60k service. It ends up not being such a blow to the wallet!
As for the car records, it doesn't go against you on paper, but it could come back and haunt you with a vengence for not keeping up on your general mantainence. It's kind of dumb not to do it IMHO.

Holy crap is that expensive. Anyways, get the timing belt and the acc. belts. The air filter and spark plugs you should be able to do yourself. They're very easy. Rotate tire and checking stuff = not nessesary. As for the FI cleaner, waste of money.

Nearly all car manufacturers call for timing belt replacement @ 100K miles and I am waiting until then. My car has 78,000 miles and I am still on my first one.
