:hammer: Today was not the best day for my xd. Today was the second time my car was involved in a hit and run in a parking lot from when I bought in June of 02. The first time the damage was minimal one new body panel. But that is not the case this time. I need two new doors and the body panel that runs from under the right rear taillight all the way to the bottom of the windshield above the doors is damaged badly and he managed to bend my RR wheel. You can see how far the rear slid in the pics The doors are mangles shut. You can see the outlines of the internal stress beams through the body panels. I was impressed that there wasn’t more damage because the whole rear end of the car was slid over about 2&1/2 feet, strong car. :hammer:
56k beware!!

well i have collision so im all set but even if your car is parked and sombody hits it and then runs off they jack up your rate. Thats why last time this happend i payed for it out of pocket, that was cheeper than the new inc rate. But this time there is maybe 5 grand or more dammage so im gonna have to go through them. those pics dont really show how bad it is. The whole rear end of the car was moved ofer about 2 and a half feet.

If there is any damage to the frame or undercarraige, you will be lucky if they dont just total it. Side airbag go off? If so, theres about another 400 bucks to add in at least cuz they have to replace the seat don't they?.

Man, that sucks. It makes you want to get the sucker that did that and strangle him/her, doesn't it?

the only place where there could be dammage its the brace between the doors but that is very solid and it seems to be ok but i wont know untill they get the doors off. No the airbags did not go off but even if they did the passanger side has a swich in the seet so they only go off if sombody is sitting in the seat, idk if the drivers side has the same thing cause the car assumes that sombody was driving it. but i wasint even in the car it wasint turrned on so i dont think they would go off anyway, im not sure if they can repack them or if new seats are the answer.

You might want to have your alignment & suspension checked out, too. A friend of mine had a Subaru Justy pushed sideways into a curb by a bus and it majorly screwed up the suspension -- of course (being a 1600 lb car) it was made of tinfoil and the rear tire was pushed up over a curb, but still...
