Debadging Help?

Hey guys, I De badged my XD, but there is still like an "outline" of the lettering. I used "Goo-Gone" to help with the adhesive, but the "outline" is what still remains. I searched for awhile, but didn't find anything, so any pointers, or suggestions?

What color is your car? It's possible it's sun fade and the letters kept the color covered and now you have a darker shade of paint because the sun hasn't gotten at it.

Moonlit Blue I believe is the name..aka..dark blue..:D

After some time and numerous washes it should fade away.

But yeah, what bdiggy said could be true as well.

Use some really light rubbing compound or swirl mark remover. It usually works.

I had the same thing. Used some Meguiars deep crystal polish and it was all gone.

And my color is black so it's much worse.
