I have been screwing around behind the dash (installed cd player and multigauge wiring) and now I cant get the gauges/HVAC in the dash to light up.

A similar problem occurred a few days ago because I didnt have the interior light dimmer switch connected...now it is

However, when I turn on the headlights, the whole interior goes dark and stays dark (except cruise control/seat belt/airbag indicator lights)...I have the dimmer switch set to illumination, so it is not as simple as that....I am assuming that I blew the fuse...but where is it if I need to replace it (looked at the fuse box under the hood and it doesnt list any kind of interior fuse on the schematic.

Any help would be good...I am driving at night without being able to read my speedometer!!!!

Your interior fuses are located behind that little flip-out compartment on the lower left side of the dash between the driver's door and the steering wheel column. Flip it open, then pull it up (I believe) and it will pop out. I think the fuse "map" is on the back of that compartment.

Hope that helps. I hope for your sake it is just a fuse, too!

Check all the fuses while you're in there. Sometimes things are on weird circuits and not on the ones you'd expect.
