this company sucks.

i have been riding on my spare for like 3 weeks now. i ordered tires from them and waited, waited, waited.... and i decided to call today. they said they couldnt send the tires out because they were the wrong size for an Elantra. WTF?

i listened to everyones good word about tirerack on here before, but ive experience differently.

They didn't try to contact you at all, they just didn't ship, what size were you getting? That's messed up. This is one reason that I don't tell the sales people what I'm doing with the parts I'm buying. I learned that lesson after spending an hour explaining why I needed they upper strut mounts from a 03
Tib when I have an Elantra. Now I tell them I need this part number and that's it, no I don't have a vin number for you, just give me my damn part.

You should have ordered from discount tire. THEY are awesome. Great customer service too. www.tires.com I am fortunate enough to have one of their stores nearby but I had them order some tires for my girl's car that they don't normally carry in the store but sell on their website and they ordered them for me, had them there in 2 days, and even price matched what they list for on the website. Now that is customer service.

Tire Rack can suck like that. They held up my order for 215/45-17's because they wanted to make sure it fit my car correctly.

Huh... I ordered weird tires and they called me about 1 hour after I ordered them to check that those are what I wanted. Did you list your actual home or work phone numbers on your Tirerack account? If so, I'd call, ask to talk to a manager and complain so that they know that they dropped the ball. I've had three good tire purchase experiences with Tirerack now.

Are you able to get the tire rack warranty if you go with a size that they do not specify like the 215/45? I didn't realize that they actually look into what kind of car you have because you can also search by tire size instead of your make/model.

You get get the warranty on any tires as long as they're the correct size for the wheel you're using.

This is news to me... I've only heard good things about TireRack. And I thought their service was very good when I asked them a few questions before. And when I bought from them the shipping was fast.

I have had nothing but good service from tirerack, although they were going to hold up my order for my tires. fortunately I checked order status religously to see when they were coming. I called and they told me that my tires were too big. I said SHIP THEM. realistically I should have gotten smaller tires, so sue me.
