Did you ever reach your modding goals that you mentioned in the interview or did you just give up on it? If you did reach your goals are you happy with them in the end?
I know I mentioned that I wanted to sell my car but never could and I wanted to turbo the XD...well in a way I did. I said I was wanting to sell the XD but I never could...well now I have a boosted Tib as you all know. If I had my time and money back I would not have boosted it and would have put my money into handling upgrades.

REad mine. I am there. Done. Kaput.
There will always be repairs and such. but as far as serious "mods" nope. Just enjoy it for what it is.

Just read my COTM interview to see what i said over a year ago. so far i feel i stuck to it, then again it was kind of easy. i talked about doing mods that i had waiting in my garage. except fot the turbo which i talked about either supercharging or turbocharging my xd. The onlything i havent done that i wanted to is Body Kit, Paint Job, and Lambo doors. my views have changed. i think i would do OEM KDM sideskirts and the Tiburon bumper with a CF hood and a two tone paint job. dont think i would lambo the doors. i know i will have my car (as long as it holds up) for at least a couple more years. i still would like to see it recieve those mods before the end of the road!

i'm not at all...although they have changed sligtly...
i'm going to try and do OEM stuff only for the modding....minus the turbo stuff.
but the five lug conversion, gk brakes, 17" gk rims, kdm moldings, side skirts, and high wing...all for the kdm oem look.

I think Im done dropping hundreds of $$$ into my car, other than maintenance. I have some other goals I want to get accomplished this year. I just want to keep the car running.
I almost had a tear in my eye looking back on my Elantra.Unfortunately I guess I gave up and sold out :(
Biggest mistake I believe was buying the Tib.When I had the xd2 I wanted a tib and now that I have one,I want my xd2 back
