figured that may be a cheaper alternative. looked on cabelas, and they must be out of their minds

75$ for 300 rounds? yeah right. i can go to wally world and get 300 rds for ~45$

is there somewhere online with decent prices for bulk ammo, that will ship?

HERE (http://www.gunshows-usa.com/ohio_gun_shows.htm) is the local listing for Ohio. Just shop around. The shows are jusrt like anything else, some guys are MUCH higher than others on prices.

didnt even think of that. the couple this coming weekend are both about 2 hours away. maybe ill just wait till the one in columbus, since its 20 min away. plus, i didnt even think that my g/fs grandpa, who is the gunsmith for a few shops around town, is usually at those shows, and knows quite a few people. might just go with him and see if we can get some deals

There you go. Bought all but one of my frearms at teh shows. They are usually willing to wheel and deal there.
