im getting ready to purchase some rims pretty soon and don't have a clue in the world what to look for when it comes down to offset and all the other requirements and wants for your rims. i have currently been looking at some Enkei RSV's. The specs for the rims are 17-7 5:100/5:114 42ET which i have no clue what all the numbers mean. could someone please explain what they all mean.

im just a noob, but since im trying to purchase some rims as well, i have been learning about this stuff for the last two weeks, so i kinda know a lil bit
the specs mean the following
17 is the rim size in inches
7 is the width of the rim in inches
5:100 means 5 lugs (holes) and the 100 means ..?? idk that one
5_114 is the same as the above,. these rims have 10 holes in them, so they fit on cars with a 5:100 AND 5:114 bolt pattern
42 is the offset
thats what i know :P now listen to the real guys here and get some info from them

Those rims will not fit our bolt pattern. We use 4x114.3/4x4.5
