This is for you old school guys! My uncle has a 79 El Camino and wants to purchase a set of Crager SS wheels. What is the maximum recommended rim width for the front and back? He wants 15" staggered. Thank you!

I saw a new Impala with those type of wheels on it today, yuck.
But, on the older cars I do like the look of them.

On my 74 El-Camino, I had 255/60/15 up front and 275/60/15 in the back. I had a slightly larger wheel well on the older body style though.

Those wheels look sick! Love em!
Dude, 10x15 is like a square!! Damn!!! I'd like to see pics of that, it's some serious tire meat.

If you are going to run a 15x10 in the rear, put on a 295-50. It's a lot more meat, and they fit great. The 275's always look a little too small on a 10" wheel.
And, Felix, I need to get some pics of my co-worker's 96 Trans Am with 16-12's. Those are seriously WIDE!
