Which Katzkin color is the perfect OE match???

I am buying a new 2007 GLS with the a/c, stereo, cruise, etc package. We really wanted leather, but didn't want to pay for the other SE benefits. The dealer is going to have a local shop put Katzkin leather in it. We need to choose the color. It's my wifes car and we just want to match, as close as possible, the grey cloth seat. Suggestions? It's really hard to tell from just the swatches they have for us to look at.

just get charcoal all the way around. it looks oe enough..

but if i was going to pay for katzkins.. i'd make it look different than OE...

Interesting. I don't know how much time you have, but Katzkin will send you actual fabric swatches to look at. Or is that what you are looking at?

I'd probably go with Smoke, Charcoal, or Graphite.

I agree with Ed though, if you are going to go custom, then I would do something a little more extravagant than a single color. I'm not big on piping, but two tone would be nice.

Yup! I was planning on doing this a while back and I ordered the sample booklet from them. I believe it was free. Defintely get the sample book before you just drop $1000+ on that interior!

Haha, about 10 years ago I would have been getting two-tone with contrasting stitching... but alas, I'm supposedly grown up now and I don't know how that would look with a baby seat or two sitting on it. I guess I was hoping for a "I did it and XXXX is the perfect OEM match." I have the swatches, but it's just really hard to tell. I will post some pics once I get it all done.

I don't think anyone has done the Katzkin leather in their Elantra yet (although I might be mistaken). I was seriously looking into it years ago, but then I got a deal on the GT leather seats and went with them instead.

A two tone would look really good in the HD though. The door panels are already a two toned black and grey, and it would look really good to carry that over onto the seats.

I would go to Roadwire. They have over 2500 install centers nationwide, manufacture their own leather interiors, won't stick you with a DK leather made in Asia like Katzkin, and their factory match is the best.. My delaership uses them.
