Well, I bought a 99 Maxima after the car got totaled, gas milege with that was just stupid, so I sold that and bought a 97 Civic CX hatchback, some mods done to it. Gonna keep the Civic for now. :)

What's gonna happen with the girl's ride now? You were parting out your's but keeping stuff for her's before. Is it salvageable?

Yea i know, but hopefully the insurance will fix the car. they repaired it last time, $5000 worth.

We've looked at some other elantra ads in the local autotrader and some are going for 9000-11000 dollars..

We are both quite shaken up, better now tho.

When the truck hit, i was in the drivers seat and my right arm hit Megan's left arm and her right shoulder hit the door panel and her head hit the glass , So she's got a bit of a headache and both our arms are bruised up good.

Good thing the side airbags did not go off. ;) I have heard that they hurt.

I saw the truck at the last minute, and we just got pushed in, happened so fast. I was more worried about megan if she was ok.

Thanks for all your concerns, Megan and I really appreciate it.

Thats some pretty wicked toe-in... really makes the car unstable at high speeds... then again... maybe that's what's "hip" these days. Glad there's no real casualties here.

Its from the accident, we don't drive around with the car like that, it would be terrible. He hit the car that hard that it bent it all in. Nah its just like that from the accident.

And techincally its not a toe in, its a negative camber. =]

Was joking... I know that... was trying to make funny.

i always worry about people speeding in parking lots, it doesn't get you in the spot any faster or out of the parking lot faster either because usually there are cars infront/behind/next..etc. to you.

Damn it, not again! You guys should give up on that one and get her a different Elantra. I think that car is just marked or something.

I am glad to hear that y'all are doing alright though.

Well, she likes this one, if they total this one off, she's either looking at a white one, or a red one. Black is too hard to clean. But either way, she wants to stay with the sedan :) Seems the spec v wheels look best on the sedans :)

Our shoulders are still quite sore. For me, its a bit harder sometimes when I am at work (Journeyman Mitsubishi Technician), backing up cars and putting my arm around the passenger seat does hurt sometimes. But I'm getting used to it.

Thanks for all your concerns guys. Makes me feel like part of a family, an Elantra family :)
