so having my del Sol back, i am quite a happy person now :) and called my buddy Bill to see what he was up to, he invited me to the roadshop at what used to be a "normal" circuit city that is now a circuit city warehouse store. after a bit of interior detailing, we headed for a car wash, where it was only fitting to put both cars in the bay at the same time. once they were as clean as they were gonna get there, we headed back for some more detail work. thats when the fun began...the manager there looked at us and said "you know what would be cool, if we pulled the cars in the store for some shots" and who are we to turn down an opportunity like that...lol...well, after getting in the store and getting arranged, we start shooting, and before anyone criticizes my photography, i didnt realize my white balance was off until later and i forgot my tripod :( but anyway, enough of me talkin, heres the pics...

mismatched spring setup...(goldline up front, eibach in rear)

and i have Skunk2 rear LCA's as well as Skunk2 lowering springs waiting patiently for nicer weather and she will be getting front/rear upper/lower strut tower braces/tie bars for som serious fun :D

i like yours better, than the 2nd sol.

That looked like a lot of fun. Is you hood C/F or fiberglass? It looks radass. I'm not a fan of the del sol but I have never seen a hood like that on one before
+ 10 Also are the rims on the sol the same as your xd2? you need to do something with the tails man either euros (again not a fan) or tint them out.

mine doesnt have euros and wont per se...im goin a little custom...lol, my hood is a VERY oxidized carbon, it used to look like this when it was taken care of 2-3x a week (this was before i took care of the riced out white interior and "lost" the side skirts)

tail light plans sorta...horrid photoshop, im taking my gen3 euros and cutting out around the lenses, then filling the rest, sealing them and painting them black

yeah, the wheels are the same, when the Sol was gettin the motor replaced, i had the wheels on my XD2 so as not to have some seriously fux0red tires from sittin for so long...

yeah, 20,000 lowrider readers, but AFAIK im one of maybe 10 if even del Sol's with a crooked plate, and the ONLY one like that, cause i did it myself. :bowdown: me lol

nah, the Sol is just a cruiser...i have a crew from one extreme to the next, all torque in the truck, balanced torque in the Elantra, and none in the Sol...lol

AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA! That's funny! It's about the same way I fit in a Miata at 6'0, 235 lbs. You make sure you don't eat anything all day, take a dump first, then a deep breath, slide a leg in, drop your fatness into the seat, unwedge the first leg out from under the wheel, grab your pant leg and pull the other leg in because it's at so messed up an angle, pause, catch breath, spend the next 5 mins trying to reach an arm around to grab the seatbelt (WHY'S IT ALWAYS OUT OF REACH WITH EITHER HAND!?!?!?), put the seatbelt on, close door, spend the next five minute swearing and trying to take the car off so you can go get the keys you forgot, get keys, lock up the car and take the Elantra!

On a side note: That's pretty pimp that they let you get inside and take those pics, inside pics always look Effin AMAZING under the lights!

im 6'3" 180 and rising, and have no issues whatsoever fitting in, the only thing i have to do is take my wallet out of my back pocket for a ride longer than about 2 hours...but it is amazing, i can stretch my legs all the way out :D

and its a 1.6...LOL...but it has teh VTEC y0
