what he said....
basically no one has done this. so except for vague answers/flames you won't get anything else here.

With a large enough hammer, some heat, and a alot of time... anything is possible.

you would probably need a whole front clip of a 06 sonata to do this.

IMO with the amount of fabrication needed to get the V6 into the HD, it probably would be easier to use the Sonata front clip...

just to clarify, anyone who has posts anywhere in the 6-7th post range, you are dumb, but especially the OP
you have a car thats ~1 year old. you obviously didnt buy it for power, but because it was cheap. if you want a sonata 3.5l, you should have ponied up the extra 3-4k for the sonata.
sure, you could probably do it with a huge bankroll, but obviously, you dont have that, or you wouldnt have bought an elantra
stick to what youve got, or sell it for something else

you do know that that 375hp v8 is not even out yet. right? so no one here will have any clue on how it would work, I think the genesis is alot wider so the XD would be to small for that engine plus you need a custom rear diff setup and any noob would know this c'mon now.
anyways not to change the topic of this thread but any engine swap that has a different front clip will require the cash to back it up and some major moddification to the chassis to fit a 3.3L v6 or even a v8 that has not came out yet and if you do get it in ( that is if you have the cash) you will have the fastest N/A XD but also a real nose heavy XD.
don't forget you will also need to upgrade the brakes with all that extra HP you will be packing.
