Can someone tell me what XD stands for? I'm thinking its the production type? :confused:

XD is the chassis code for the 2001-2003 Elantras that this site was started for. We (the Hyundai forum guys) designate the 2004-2006 the XD2 (although for Hyundai it's still an XD). The 2007+ is the HD. Search for chassis code if you want to find out more.
