I won Car of the Year on CrookedH.com in December.... i won a free gift from Import shark it was either a couple little things for free or a discount on performance parts. wasnt much i needed so i chose a free gift which came in last night..... couldnt wait to get it installed. It was a chrome shift knob. doesnt really match interior, but it feels great in my hand. my old one as well as the new one is a universal, but my old one was messed up and would move around. so while i had the old one off i cut my B&M short throw cuz its way too long. while i was in my garage, i took some new pics in the dark. enjoy.

Im sorry thats the case, but dont worry, i bet im in more debt. lol
I dont remember when my car was stock! lol nah i do, and i remember wanting my car to be like yours (when i had my 01 Chanti)
They are custom mats from GGBailey. my girlfriend got them for my birthday last year. i had stock Elantra (non GT) mats in my car before that. She had them embroidered with Elantra GT.

I would like to cut my B&M, but I would have to have someone re-thread the shaft. I like my stock Tib knob, so the threads would have to be there.
It's a great look BTW.

dont have it rethreaded, cut the a section out and have the top with the threads welded on

I don't know how to weld aluminum, and the guys that do charge way too much.

Hey I noticed that you live on Long Island, Theres a place in the Bay Shore area that is pretty good and the guy gives a reasonable price. It's called A&N Reliable Welding 59 Livingston St. Bayshore NY (631) 666-6664. I had an Oldsmobile that needed the rear axle beam to be re welded because the part where it supported the springs was rotted out and they were poking through. Anyway the guy did the whole thing for $100 even which is a good price for a project like that. He seems familiar with working on cars and has like a million feral cats that he has living in his shop. So to make the long story short he did an awesome job on the welding just don't judge it by the looks of the shop, its what I would call eclectic with all the cats and stuff...kinda like the welder guy in the old herbie movies lol. errr ok correction I forgot that you know people who weld anyway, well if anyone else needs a recommendation for a welder this is the place in my opinion
