it says euro tail light cover. made by Dr.Lee which has been famous company for making tinting light covers for cars. Intallation is, make the surfice clean, heat it up the double tape on the cover, put it on, don't let the moisture get in. price is like $10

If things go as planned, there will be aftermarket taillights manf. in korea for the xd (i think the xd, but it could be the xd2, or both) by the end of the year. Its not 100% so no official word yet, but if the tuscani and tuscon lights being made work out, the avante is the next project.

Seams to me like a little step backwards...considering the XD/XD2 has been out a little longer than the Tuscon (but I know the popularity of SUVs in Korea) they were everywhere

Ugh, no more Altezza stuff, LOL...I agree with the majority on this one, I've never seen a nice Altezza for the XD (and prolly never will), this one is no different. Sorry, just don't like em.

Seriously, most cars with altezzas look like sh*t. It makes the whole rear look cheap. I see at least 2-3 civics a day with no mods except some cheapo-plastic-looking altezzas. Not to mention the damn things cost well over $100(unless you want the real ugly ebay ones). No offense, but altezzas, IMO, are juss another mod to add to the ricers' category.

Sorry, back on topic, those look like crap buddy:). Hopefully no altezzas are made for the XDs cuz the OEMs are great looking.

It would be nice to have another taillight option though... just not altezzas. There's many different possibilities for aftermarket taillights that aren't clear... althought we all know they probably will be.

You gotta admit though, the shape of the elantra tail lights doesn't leave much room for innovation from that circle right in the middle of everything :rolleyes:

In the Picture it looks as if they put that "smoked clear" thing on first, and then they put those aluminum "altezza" things over it....I dunno, I'm not really liking it....not to mention that's an 01-03, so it's not even neccesary to put that circle (like the 04 has), they could have reshaped where the cut outs go....but that's all just IMO

I personally think Altezzas have a lot of potential for our car. Something similar to the Altima, but with black housing like our headlights instead of chrome. Something similar to how the new Mazda 3's tailights look. That would be nice. I think chrome altezzas look horrible on most every car with a few exceptions. I should do a photochop one of these days.
