I imagine it would be as popular as the SS-R. It looks kind of cool I guess.

GM is already most likely bringing back the el camino to the US through Pontiac. The G8 ST. (http://jalopnik.com/348996/pontiac-g8-st-el-camino-coming-to-new-york-auto-show) Looks pretty sweet, same as the Holden VE Ute. Really no point to an el camero, i think it looks a little funny.

Looks cool, useless as a "truck" but still fun to haul ***!

it would be more of a parts hauler, for working on cars i would assume. you cant take contruction materials in there but you could damn sure fit an engine or some body pannels

and original sin was pretty damn ugly.
why is everything being designed all futuristic?! bring back the old school designs with new technology (regarding materials, engines, emissions, drivtrain etc...). i'd LOVE to see an El Camino that is externally identical to the original, or 2nd gen, but internally state-of-the-art. same goes for mustangs, t-birds, Camaros... MUSCLE CARS! though the roush or shelby '08 mustangs are fine :D
