OK here we go!

First I am going to show the 2 coil packs the one on the right is Coil #1 and the left is #2 its important that you know which one is 1 and 2 or your MSD install will not work.

Next step is to peal away the plastic covering over the wires that is going to the coils.
Here is a Picture of what coil #1 should look like:

And here is Coil #2
http://www.nitrousworld.com/pictures/pic3.jpeg

Next I will just show you what wire to connect. Lets start with Coil pack 1:
http://www.nitrousworld.com/pictures/pic4.jpeg
Here you can see that I spliced the Brown/white wire from the msd unit to the Green wire(signal 1) coming from the coil #1 and the brown/orange wire into the white(+voltage) wire from coil #1

Next I will show how Coil #2 should look.
http://www.nitrousworld.com/pictures/pic5.jpeg
Here you can see that I spliced the Green/brown wire from the msd unit to the yellow wire coming from coil#2 and again the orange/brown wire into the white wire from coil#2

You should now have 4 wires left coming from the MSD unit and the 4 wires from the coil HARNESS side. Only thing left to do it connect the GREEN wire from the msd unit to the YELLOW wire coming from the COIL HARNESS. Then the WHITE wire from the MSD unit to the GREEN wire coming from the COIL HARNESS. The 2 RED wires from the MSD unit connects to the 2 WHITE wires from the COIL HARNESS. Does not matter which just make sure one goes to each one.

Here is a pic of where I mounted my unit. You can choose a different location if you want.

All you got left to do is to supply power to your unit and ground it and you are DONE!

Hope this helps anybody that was interested in getting MSD for there XD. :)
If I can make this better just let me know - Peace

Ok thats a good DIY, the one thing that would make it better is to get rid of those little red Xs

Thanks for the DIY. I noticed that you have NOS, would this benefit an NA engine or is this more beneficial for FI engines? Have you noticed any difference?

I would say FI just for the timing purposes. Only thing i notice after the install is that my acceleration is alot smoother and it idles alot better. When i spray it seems to pull harder also.Thats about it so far.
