Nissan is likely doing testing since they aren't scheduled to go on sale til the summer. Very nice... and for those people interested "skyline" is being dropped from the name. It is now known only as GT-R. I've read it will have Porsche 911 Turbo performance for likely the price of a base 911. 473 hp from twin turbo V-6; chunky 3858 lb; 15" rotors.

if the price of the gt-r is going to be around the price of a 911 turbo, id rather have the 911 turbo.

No it is the price of an entry 911, somewhere in the ballpark of $70K, but have performance comparable to the 911 Turbo which is around $124K

The rep at CIAS said it'd start at around $70K. The one they had on display was going for near-$80K.

I think this is the first drive by a journalist in Canada:
http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/ly/09gtr.htm
He says he drives it right off the display at the Toronto auto show.
