They are going to repaint the wheels with another shade of blue. The wheels were white so the first coat came out smurf blue. Not what they were going for :)

No lowering springs. They cut 2 coils off the front and 1 off the back. Said the ride is just like stock

In the process of putting the TV and dash back together. They are fixing to try and mount a PS2 in the glovebox

I will never cut the springs...

IMO the wheels should either be silver or black...

As for cutting the springs; For $150 or so she could have gotten a set of H&R springs from Ebay... IMO (again) not worth cutting the factory ones and possibly compromising the handling in emergency situations.

I agree that the TV in the dash should be neat, though.

The tv is gonna be badass but where is the cd/dvd player going?

I would have never cut my springs either...that's just ghetto. The new shade of blue may actually turn out kinda cool, you never know, but I'd hate to be seen with those rims the way they look right now.

They cut the springs because they couldn't get springs in time for NOPI. They do plan on putting springs on the car. The CD player is below the HVAC, I thought I got it in the pic. The new blue is going to be more of a candy blue.

For safety's sake I'm glad to hear that the springs will be replaced. I wouldn't want her or anyone else to get hurt or have her smash up a car into which she's investing so much time.

If you could snap and post another pic of the CD player below the HVAC I'd be interested to see it.

Also when they she paints the wheels and clear them make sure to wet sand them with 2000 grit paper it would look muck better the duplicolor metalcast would be a great choice of paint
METALCAST™ is heat resistant and can be used in high heat applications such as engines and brake calipers
