I decided to experiment and paint my wheels silver. I think it looks better when wheel covers are over it.

Reminds me of earlier civic hatches, but if you like it, more power to ya.

i would have painted them black, the silver background doesnt go very well with the hubcaps.

if you like it and think it looks good then kudos. why does everyone have to be so negative and critique. be like dj hellfire and just state ur not a fan.

I think it loos better farther away, black looks better. The good think about paint is that it's easy to take off.

dude it depends on the color of the car to me but i do like it most of the time. looks good though

looks ok, the black background would accent the hubcaps better, but if you like it then thats all that matters.

Because he put it up in a PUBLIC forum, and everyone is entitled to their thoughts/opinions. Obviously, the OP likes it since he did it to his car but if everyone felt the same way that'd be boring.

Take a picture of the whole car. I don't think it would look too bad actually.

I probably wouldn't do it myself, but you know, it's good to be different.

i think that with the hubs on it looks really good. but with the hubs off i think silver just looks a little wacky. but yeah, i dig it with them on

I painted my steelies with Krylon Ultra-Flat Black paint, then got some Dupli-color gun metal paint at auto zone and did my hubcaps here's a pic from a while ago: the wheels get chalky after a while, I just hit them with a fresh coat every time I rotate the tires
