Craigs FG grill, chrome headlights AND one of the very few XD1 carbon fiber hoods!

Whats everyone think? and yes, I know its dirty but I didn't have time today between being on the road for awhile today and working on my brothers car. I'll clean it up this friday and take some awesome pictures.

This is one of those things that you just have to see in person. Pictures don't do it much justice. It looks great with the headlights in there.

thats just my opinion, theres too much grey/black going on in the front. especially with the chrome headlights, **** dont look right. thats my style though, you dont have to agree.

I'm leaning towards changing over to dark colors like black. I'm considering one of these two rims:

Then I'd get my tint back, and probably tint the tails. I'm still debating.

Id agree, and adding either of those rims would really not help. There's a lot of contrast of colors and textures going on now with the hood and lights, adding more with either of those rims would make everything stick out.

Dark wheels would work, but Id go for something without contrasting colors in the wheel.

Good choices since u are going to have to tie all the chrome & black together. You know I don't like plain black wheels but I would have to say go w/the black rims w/chrome lip though. I agree that u need to tie it all in together to match. I wonder if tinting the front lights would make it a little better? that way u can tint the black too?

I think some of the other guys are right, I think the OEM headlights would look better in this situation (and you know I love my KDM chrome ones).

What you could do is paint the sides of the hood at the body line the car color, along with the grille. This would minimize the contrasting colors a little (by reducing the size of the contrasting color area).

i think it looks good. i have the vented hood because i wasnt sure how the oem style would look but i like it. makes ur car look very clean and neat. id say to fix the headlight problem, just buy some $15 headlight tint and it will fix that problem. thats what im doing when i get my chrome headlights. that way from the front it looks like your doing something to your car instead of just throwing stuff on your car. very clean though. high five to the select and rare few that have CARBON HOODS WOO HOO. oh i know your secret too im staying quiet about the secret.

What if you got one of those two-tone rims and powdercoated the chrome parts the body color of the car? Or did that with any rims. Mask off a part and paint it.

The car is looking alot better. Eyelids could help too if you do the two tone hood....It'll give the car a more mean look.

F them cypher, the hood is sweet, KDM headlihghts are bad ***, the grill is fine the way it is. It reminds me of what my car looked like minus the hood before I started thinking about painting and stuff. you should tint the lens though like in the recent DIY. If anyone thinks it clashes what if he throws in the KDM fogs, chrome headlight/chrome foglights

Looking good Jim! There are only a few color cars that I like plain CF on, if I were in your position I would take one of those small ElantraXD stickers that Super was handing out to pro members, put it on the hood and have the hood painted to match the car, then peel the sticker off.

But one suggestion that I have failed to mention, those Gold Pin Stripes, please get rid of them. They have no business being on your ride. Unless of course you really, really like them, but I think they take away from the overall look you've go going.

I hit a deer a month ago. I have a hood alignment issue I have to sort out. As soon as it warms up, I am going to spend a day or so messing with it.

The pinstripes are coming off soon. Just waiting for it to warm up a little bit. Going to take a heatgun to it to finally get rid of it.
