Well, I have 500 miles until I hit the big number. Any advice?
The maintenance that I need is as follows: Clean/oil air filter, change cabin air filter, oil change. All of which I'll be doing in 2 weeks when it gets nice out.
The car itself is holding up nice. I've been beating on it to see if any irregularities come up. Nothing so far. The transmission hangs/clunks out of 3rd when the car is first droven. Doesn't last more then 5 miles. Some ticking noise from the engine, but I think it's from the cold. We had like 2 warm days in a row any no noise. I don't see any liquids leaking and no oil burning smell.
Should I have the dealer check it out on last time? I don't see it hurting me.... except my wallet. Or maybe a private garage to look it over so I know they won't lie.
