It looks like it fits the width of the trunk really well. Like you said, just a little bit of massaging, and all will be well. I can't wait to see finished pics.

its definitely a high spoiler. My roommate had a mazdaspeed protege and we both think the spoiler is the weakest feature of the car. Maybe once its not yellow itll look better.

the only thing thats even close is the way it mounts.

the mazda one is very curved and has no verticals, while the other one is completly flat and has tips

I like the Protoge spoiler a lot better. It goes with the rest of the lines on the car better than the VIS.
