So I really did have an awesome day today. Let's see first off I got a new job today. AWESOME!!!! starting tomorrow Another sign shop offered me a job this morning. Pay is almost double what I was making, full benefits and vacation from the gate! It was funny because the owner called me this morning and asked if I wanted to meet with him for lunch I said sure I'm not doing anything. So I met with him and he asked me " what would it take for you to come work for me?" I said I don't know, you tell me, he says how about this, and he slides me a piece of paper I look at it and almost **** my pants. I looked at him and said when do you want me to start? He said be here tomorrow at 8 and we'll get you set up. I shook his hand, paid for our lunches and told him he could have gotten me to come work for a lot less. He smiled and said you get what you pay for. I have been smiling ever since 1pm ha. So I left there and headed to m buddies garage and began stage 2 of my day.

I got an OBX header a few weeks ago and decided it was time to put her on. Now for everyone who said they got a crappy header with bad welds and a mismatched flange. I didn't the only thing I had to do was grind a little of the flange off the corner (because I didn't want to take off the alternator and bracket) Other than that it was a direct bolt on. As of right now I'm running header, stock flexpipe and cat. I actually don't have the piping from right before the resonator back. Getting all new piping tomorrow after I get off of work. So it's loud as hell right now but only accelerating at 55mph it actually quieter than it was before?????
Anyways here are some pics

Hmmm! Is the OBX header bigger on the edge near the alt/p/s bracket than the stock manifold? The reason I asked is because I replaced a cracked manifold on an XD at work a few months ago and was able to do the swap without removing the bracket or grinding anything. And I didn't have to force it out or back in. But I was replacing a stock manifold with another stock manifold.

Sounded like an open window. It's been pretty warm over here on the east coast the last 2 days.

That raspy (crinkling plastic sound) was a torrential down pour

I'm going to extend the wires later tonight and fix the cel tomorrow after the cat back install.

its not a "mismatched" flange, its that they warp
