Sounds like you got a bad ballast. It is probably getting hot and going into a thermal shut-down mode. Try contacting the company you got them from and see if they will warranty it for you.

if theyre still under warranty id get them replaced, but if not, check your wiring, make sure all the connections r tight, from my understanding HID bulbs last a long time, so if anything, it might be ur ballast thats takin a crap.

Switch the ballasts side to side and see if the problem changes sides.

Well I have the same problem with mine and my local shop told me that there's not enough power going to the lights, but I don't know how much that is true.

I have the HALO HID's....they lasted over 2 years i think, but it just pisses me off that they are advertised as a perminant replacement for stock halogen bulbs, because they will never burn out.

if its hooked up to the factory wiring, then thats way far from the truth. HID's use something like half the power of halogens.

Did you happen to look at th Bosch box and see the little "Made in China" statement on it (or "Fabrique en Chine")?
Just about everything is made in China now. What matters is how good the original design is and how tight the production quality control is.

^They draw more amperage to start up during the first couple of minutes, though. However, I agree if that was the problem, they probably wouldn't start.
