View Full Version : It's flooding !

So I was just outside listening to the rain an caught a glimpse of a car traveling down the road. It looked as if it were driving down a river! I was blown away by the amount of water out there. So I ventured out to check on the sunfire sitting across the road from my house and it was about even with the bottom of the door! So I figured I should move it, I traveled down the road about a mile to my in-laws and the water has just about reached there house. and they live up on a hill higher than what my house sits at, so now I'm worried about flooding. I never had to deal with it before firsthand so it's a new albeit unwelcome experience. If my car get flooded I'm gonna be pissed. I might drive it up on the hill in the yard (but I'll probably get stuck) so it's kinda lose lose.

ive done some off roading before, its fun. get as much speed as u can before u hit the soft soil. lol

I live on top of a hill. I'm not worried.

If it gets deep enough I can go kayaking in the stream at the bottom...

i also live on a hill, so all the water drains to the bottom and floods those people, HA!

the gas station down the hill from my house, couple years ago, was completely flooded. it was ****in funny!

Oh forgot, I even got it stuck once because of sugar sand and embankment.

Flooding sucks! We were out of our apartment for over a week last spring because our bathtub and toilet started to back up and water was seeping through the wall and into the carpet! Moving before this spring has the chance to get us though we're under flood warning right now.

The creek down the hill from me is WAY over its banks...snapped some pics when i was driving out to school this morning, will have them up later
