We could get the lowest car in the world on that alignment rack...

Very nice, especially when working on interiors. Easy to set up as well.

They're really nice. Easy to do trim work without the large posts being in the way. Just have to be careful when pulling in as you have nothing to judge your room by. The only thing that sucks is that I've never had a lift that went high enough for my 6'4" body...
Oh, and the best thing about these racks are that they have 2 stage arms. Makes it incredibly easy to rack Z4s...

NICE RACK! But I'm surprised they went with the older style flip-down lifts instead of Hunters newer airbag style lifts. Nice regardless. How many alignment machines did they install?

Nice! I saw one of these the other day and wasn't sure if it was something BMW actually sold like the old Alpina Z8 or if it was something the guy just threw on. I always liked when the techs programmed these cars (back when they first came out and all 13 or whatever modules had to always be reprogrammed) and it got to the part where it check the hydraulic suspension and the car would do the low rider style hyraulic moves right in the bay. I really miss seeing that!

1 alignment rack.
Yeah, that B7 is incredible! 500hp and 507tq. Supercharged 4.4l V8. It's quite a bit of fun. 13 modules? Closer to 40. And for the lowrider show, those hydraulic swaybars are quite cool, and make that car handle a lot better than it has any right to.

Yeah! I knew there was mad modules. I knew it would take up to 13 hours sometimes for the car to finish programming, and only to sometimes fail in the middle. But everything about that car is unbelieveable for the size and weight; the handling is rediculous (60 mph jug handles without a tire screech) and the way it hauls *** from a dead stop. I have yet to drive a benz in the same class as the 7 that can compare in those areas.

How close it that to the Hyatt hotel?
Back in the late 80's my uncle used to work there and I thought it was cool (young kid) because we got to go to all the pools.

I feel you! Our alignment rack was ****ed up too. We had the updates, but the hardware was old and ****ed up. I got tired of doing alignments and them coming out ****ed up and charging people for it. I probably shouldn't say this online but **** it. I kept erasing the software discs with a magnet so the hire ups thought the machine was just fubar and had to replace it. They had hunter come in many times and fix it. Right when he left, I erased that ****er again. Needless to say, now we have a brand new DSP something like Ricers and a roadforce balancer to go along with it. Give it a shot. Just run a small magnet across the disk once, put it back in, and reset the machine. The ****er won't boot up!

i would reather have the above ground....those lifts take for ever to come down.
but they are much nicier to work on interior and are quite.
that rack is what i need to do my car on....ours is just a four post hunter that you ha ve to drive up onto.
