Who here is getting Super Smash Bros Brawl on March 9?

I seriously cant wait. I cant tell you how many unproductive hours I spent playing Super Smash Bros Melee back in high school. SSBB is probably one of the most anticipated games for the Wii in the history of ever-dom.

Reece, you are going to have to convince me to buy it. I need to finish Galaxy and Advance Wars first before I buy another game. I don't know. The IGN review got me hyped up about it though.

My friend is getting it on midnight when it comes out. Im not that excited about it since my friends and I still get together once a week to play SSBM...it took me a long time to get as good as I am in this game and now Im really hoping brawl wont be a huge letdown.
But I thought the same thing when melee came out. So we will see.

I don't have a Wii but i think is very cool that Snake is one of the new characters in the game, altough Link has always been my favorite character.

Pre-ordered it over a month ago. My kids and I are looking forward to it. We're also looking forward for Mario Cart coming in April.

I'm most definately looking forward to Mario Kart on April 28. I'll probably get Wii Fit, due out on May 19th, too. Smash Brothers, probably not - never played any of them

i never liked melee... idk why, i just never did. just like mario kart... MK for N64 was AWESOME... then they did it for GC... and it sucked!

Nintendo is going to be offering user created levels, a new one each day, but you wouldn't be able to save them. IGN has your solution. They are going to have a spot where people can upload and download any and all their maps. Awesome stuff.

Just unlocked all the characters, the SSE mode is so long and boring but well worth being able to use Wolf, Toon Link, and jigglypuff, plus all the others you get along the way like Sonic.

i thought nothing of this, even after this thread. i dont have a wii so i didnt really care.. but i just say the commercial for the game yesterday.. and yeah. im jealous, i want to play! it looks pretty damn awesomeness

I meant to post here the other day. I got it last Tuesday. Been slowly working on the SSE mode, Classic Mode, and the Events (I have the waterfall one and one other left to do).

I'm too scared to play online yet, I don't have enough skillz.

Yea, I'm playing SSE right now. My only question, is on the map, whats the deal with the like, rainbow crown icons? I know the green flag means the level is complete, but whats up with the other symbols?

i duno, i dont have a wii so it doesnt matter, but one of my friends bought it and he was un-impressed. he took it back after like 5 days and unlocking most stuff.
he said it was just too simple and their werent enough cool moves to keep interest
maybe hes on crack, i duno.. im interested to hear more opinions from you guys now that some of you have had it for a bit

i have a question, when ur playin this game n u catch that smash ball or w/e its called.... how do u actually initiate the special attack??? i hav no idea how to do that.

It's A+B together on the Gamecube controller. I'm sure it says in the manual.

I kind of like using Wario (and of course Link).

That's no fun. In Melee we used to set up super Pokemon battles with Poke balls and only a couple other items on the highest frequency. That was fun.
