Hood Protector Removal

I removed the hood protector from my car, as I didn't like the look.
There are three small plastic support "nubs" that hold the top lip of the protector from touching the hood. These are firmly glued/stuck to the hood. Any suggestions on the best way to remove these without damaging the paint?

heat gun to loosen the glue to pull them off. Then goo gone to remove the glue.

why would u take the protector off??

you know those cars with the faded hoods and you wonder how it got that way..........yea your gonna be that guy after too long withouth protector

i know i regretted it pretty bad if i had extra cash right now id get a new hood because that thing scuffed off some paint and i have a million scratches on the hood :(
