My gf somehow managed to hit a short pole with her dads truck, demolishing the headlight and making an irreparable dent in the driver side fender. We already got the headlight assembly off ebay for ~$90. However, I was wondering what years and models the fender is interchangable with. I'm pretty sure that mid-90's Chevy S10's have the same fender as the 03 Sonoma, but im not 100% sure since i dont have both to compare at one time. Does anyone know what other makes/models/years have a swappable fender? We're going to go turd-hunt junkyards for it on monday, and im hoping to be able to look for more than just one make/model. any help will be greatly appreciated. im borderline retarded when it comes to American-designed trucks.

I fdon't know, but I'm positive Bob will. He's had multiple GM trucks.

there is a place in chula vista on main street that sells wholesale parts. i got a fender for a mustang from them before for $50

If your heading east on main street before reaching the 805 freeway they will be on the left hand side on a corner street, its a yellow building with a huge car banner on the roof of the building.

you will know you are nearby when you see alot of body shops around. I don't have their Number but i will try to find it.

I'm pretty sure anything 95(if I remember correctly that's when they switched the body style over) up will fit. sonoma, s-10, and even the jimmy/blazer should fit because everything is basically the same. they just changed the grille and headlights, and the bumper over the years. I've seen quite a few older s-10 style trucks that have the newer headlights and grille, and from what I understand it's all bolt on stuff. so, the fender and all that from 95 up should fit. anyone step in and correct me if I'm wrong

yessir, 95 and up S-10, S-10 Blazer/Jimmy, Isuzu Hombre, or Sonoma are interchangeable :)

thanks guys. i will be checkin into it. Matrix, i know the store you are talking about. do they happen to come pre-painted? the only reason i wanted to junk-yard aroun for it was to hopefully find one already painted (white), just to save my gf the $$ of getting it painted. but for ~$50 you cant go wrong! would a conservative estimate of the painting be correct around $75?

EDIT
thanks again for the help guys. went to collision warehouse, the one Matrix mentioned, and got the fender for $43!!!! another $20 or so for dupli-color and it should match perfectly. MUCH better than the $120+ i saw on ebay.
