Arcade Game Machines

Does anybody else want one or a whole bunch of arcade machines? I know it's one of those things that's fun for about 10 minutes but those 10 minutes would be awesome.

^i would/could never get a ski ball set unless it was Full size. like the old style ones aumement parks used to have. now most places have these new fangled ones that are smaller/cheaper :P

you can still get the full size ones, i think last time i priced them it was in the ballpark of 10k for ONE lane..

And if i was ever going to make an arcade box, i would just build a MAME box using an old pc and the mame emulator. they sell kits for somewhere around 500 bucks that come with the controllers/wiring/ and empty cabinets

the only 1 arcade game that could really tempt me would be marvel vs. capcom 2. and thats only for nostalgia cause i used to play in HS and woop everyone at the malls ***. people would get so pissed when i would play free all day and then just get bored and leave when they wanted a re-match.. no kid, no rematch, your just no challenge. im bored lol

I hate skeeball. I ****ing HATE it. Maybe its because I work for Chuck E. Cheese and the kids throw the ball at them, rather then roll, but they break SO often.

Ugh...damn skeeballs...

Oh, and pinballs? Those are fun to fix. But then maybe its just cause ours gets beat on so much by the kids...

I think NBA Jam would be pretty cool to have. Once I went to someone's house and they had some old army shooter type arcade game. It was the coolness times two.

Oh i have a basement. and i WOULD ABSOLUTELY build a ski ball machine. ill go get the lumber, super, you call off work for a week and come down hehe.. wait me and woodworking.. maybe 2 weeks. heh any idea how long it took me to make my sub boxes lol

Ever since i went on vaca to the beach and there was an arcade with full size ski ball machines.. i have been 100% addicted. me and my buddy played ski ball for like 4 hours strait, hey whatev, our g/fs wanted to shop, and we wanted to play arcade games.. so CYA! hehe

i ended up getting 720 points (7 100's and 2 10's) and setting the record on the machine and winning the "bonus". which of course it was some crummy arcade on the beach so i got a bunch of crummy tickets to buy some crummy beach crap.. but hey. i got alot of free souvenirs, not that 4 hours of ski-ball was cheap lol - but anyway, im obseesed. there is no such thing as "1 game" of ski-ball :D
