for the corporate office of capital one? my brother and i have been fighting with customer service for capital one auto finance since NOVEMBER to get him one piece of paper!!! we need that piece of paper to ship his car from AZ to HI where he is stationed active duty airforce for the next 3 years. customer service just keeps running me around in circles and i am DONE with it but of course they "don't have" the number for the corporate office, let alone a supervisor who is a live person and not a voice mail that will promise a callback in 24 business hours.
any help would be fabulous i'm just at the end of my rope and i can't find it anywhere >_<
so i guess you tried all these?

thank you all for your help. i did try the numbers you had listed...all that got me was a po box in salt lake city. i am however LOVING that you managed to find the address for the CEO. thats AMAZING and i'm going to write the letter right now. fortunately i found out that we don't really need the letter to ship the car because he is not leasing it but that in no way means i'm going to let them slide with screwing around for 4 months for one piece of paper. shaun is just a guy doing his job but he's still military. that has to count for something right???

With this kind of stuff, you really, really, REALLY need to send letters. Send them certified so you have a receipt (and they know you have a trail). I've had problems with credit cards, mortgage lenders, etc., that always "get solved" over the phone, only to find out they never did what they said they would, but when I switch over to written correspondence it always seems to get fixed. Telephone conversations are not generally considered contractual business communications.
