lol well apparently it wasn't that hard of a search you did!
and I prefer the layout of the old one, with all the lines that runs and cross each other the new one is harder to read...

have you driven an International truck or looked under the hood of any Ford diesel? my truck has International all over it, and the international 4300 that i drove for work had some ford parts, i would think there would be some ties between the two...

Not really. Ford F800's used to come optioned with Detroit 8.2L V8's. Drivetrains on the larger ford/international/GMC trucks are pretty open to almost any diesel engine.
Believe it or not.

School busses are the same way. Blue Bird busses one year may have a International chassis and a Ford or GM the next. Drivetrains are open to any diesel engine and automatic transmission; usually the Allisson commercial tranny.

No. They have a relationship with Mitsubishi and Hyundai/Kia for the use of the engines. The short block 2 liter, 2.4 liter and some V6 engines are the same and used in all three manufacturers products.

Mitsu is by itself except for joint ventures (obviously the engines)
Porsche is almost by itself/at top of the auto chain.
No ties between Lexus and Hyundai?

Don't forget that Ford recently sold Jaguar and Land Rover to Tata Motors Ltd. in India for $1.7 Billion...a third of what they originally paid.
If that doesn't show how desperate Ford is, I don't know what does.

 Huh? That makes less sense than Ford and GM having ties. Lexus IS toyoduh. Hyundai has (thankfully) no ties to toyoduh.

Last estimate I heard was that ford wouldn't show a profit until the 3rd quarter of 2009.
