I think FordFasterr managed to pick up like 5 whp with AFC tuning and similar mods...

Just be careful with the S-AFC's and such. Our ECU's have a tendency to re-learn things, and even learn around, the settings of an AFC.
Ideally, what you'll be doing is leaning out the fuel mixture up top, allowing you to gain almost 5 whp in the upper RPM range. I say this because as you may know, our cars run incredibly rich in the upper RPM range, and leaning out the fuel mixture, you'll see a few extra ponies.
Just be prepared to reset your ECU from time to time, when you notice your car not performing as good as when you first install this.

Yes and no. I understand you can get it for a good price, but if you were to wait awhile, you could spend just a little more money for a complete reflash of your ECU, which would yield you many more benefits that the AFC would.
But if you must have it, it is a very easy install. Just a few wires to tap into is all. The hard part is doing it all while cramped up under the dash and tapping into the ECU harness. To do this, I suggest you remove the driver seat, so you can have some extra room. I've done many piggy back system installs on the XDs, and they are pretty routine for me. You will need to get the pinout codes for your model ECU, which you can get from Webtech. Or PM me, and I can get them for you.

Look for the JESTR tuning thread that's on here. It'll be about $250 for the reflash or so, and a couple of months to wait on the reflash to be complete.
