So Ive been looking around for some performance mods and ive looked at performance headers and performance catalytic converters, has anyone done any these mods to their car?

If so, whats your opinion, notice a big difference or any difference or anything? Also did you install it yourself and if you did, was it hard or whats needed? ( thats mostly for the headers though, i think the CC has to be welded )

*edit .....accidentally posted in the wrong forum...dont kill me :(

And you obviously didn't read/search around.

If you click the magical SEARCH button on the top and type "headers", it will reveal your answer. Good luck.

Welcome! I see your are from the Philly Burbs...whereabouts? I'm from Allentown.

I have a set of headers plus a hi flow cat and midpipe, and it works great for freeing up power. You can get the headers from a bunch of places, search around. Hotshot and Key made the best, but there are others on the market. As far as a Cat, you may have to get one welded in, just find a local shop that will do it and have them do your inspections from then on.

SEARCH

Oh, and guys, we only have ONE bank of cylinders, therefore it is a HEADER, without the "S"!

right, but if you type headers instead of header under the search, it gives you better results. try it.

Think about it for a minute. You've never seen a header installed on our cars that retains the first Catalytic Converter right? Therefore, there is NO header that retains the Cat.
