Is there much difference between high and standard wattage?
Are both high and standard wattage safe to use in my xdgt04?

I would stick to the regular voltage (55W). The wiring is not really rated for the 80 or 100Watts. You could try & get away with it, but the XD5 are bright enough anyways at 55W :)

I just got some XD5s (9006 55W, for my other car) and they SUCK!! Now I will have to see how long they will last.

Sorry your unhappy. I've had the 100watt XD5's for about a year, and no trouble. Love them.

Super-fast shipping..... but I'm VERY dissapointed with the bulbs. The website lead me to believe the bulbs are bright white, but they're blue, and not as bright as standard bulbs.

I need headlights for driving performance, not for looks...

These people have 465 negatives on ebay. They are about to get # 466 from me :mad:
