I did a nice detail on my '04 EGT. I did try to mask off the trim with painters tape, but I still got some wax on the black trim and also on the sunroof gasket. Does anyone know the best way to get it off and have it look perfect again? I don't really want to use armorall since when you stop using it it dries out and cracks. Mother's - Back to Black is good, but it is silicone based and it attracts dust like a magnet (I previously owned a vehicross and 50% of the body is black trim so I know about it!).
Does anyone use Zymerol or Zaino Bros? Anyone have the same problem when using those products?

Also I thought of having the trim painted to match the body. Anyone done this? costs?

Please help!

but that covers it up, does not remove it. I used it on my vehicross and it would become white-ish after 2 weeks and would need to re apply the product. Also it made the surface like a magnet for dust and dirt.
I tried using my clay bar with no luck...

I tried one by 3M made for removing wax from vinyl and it worked like water. Most cleaners are not safe for vinyl products. I am almost ready to go to a shop and have it painted or something (if it is not too much(.
The vinyl is a nice touch (sections the look of the car) but the maintenance is a ***** when it comes to clean up (specifically wax!)
