not sure who all here is a fan of the Supra, but a 1994 Supra Limited was spotted in the SD area. for those of you familiar with the area, it was parked at Toyota of El Cajon, and I think is owned by one of our soon-to-be-new sales people. bone stock body, but damn was the engine sexily modded up. =) I normally hate closing but last night was sexified.

bro if you go to the chula vista area where there are the junk yards.. there's a guy there who owns two of them shipped from japan, both right-hand drive and modified like crazy pushin over 1000hp. those are some beautiful beasts :-) and the guy is selling them!

Why is an old Supra worth a post on EXD?

Just curious.

cause Supra is japanese for "holy ****, toyota made that?"
but seriously, its a hell of a car, and its in the appropriate forum from what i can tell, and i know there are some so cal members here, and of those few there was a small chance someone was wanting one and i could *possibly* set them up with this owner to talk business, even thought its not currently for sale.

Ok, that's fine I guess.

There are plenty of Supras from all generations in the area. It's not as exciting for me when I see one.

I've only seen one in my area and he commented me on my datsun right before he spun the tires at a stoplight while I clapped and cheered.

i understand what you mean. but at least in the san diego are finding a Supra is rare, but finding one that works, works well, and isn't riced to hell and back is ridiculously hard to find.

we have a good share of early-mid 80's supras rolling around town, but from what i've seen they're all just stockers and used as beaters, nothing special. but to find a 90's supra is golden!

I've driven them for work.

Test drove a stock black TT 6spd, people were hanging out their cars waving at me and trying to race, and I only put like 10 miles on it, wow.

chrome on a Supra? blasphemy! but if it works for him then thats all that matters. i bet it looks awesome.

I'd love to own one.

where do you work at that you got to drive a supra? the best i've done is a 350Z convertible. lets hope toyota re-introduces the newest supra before i leave the dealership.

i work at a toyota dealership. the one i road tested i did tires and alignment on. i ususally do just oil changes with no roadtest....especially the ones that come in that are completely MINT with only 5000 miles on them. I'm almost afriad to work on those, haha.

i work at a toyota dealership too, but the best we get for service is an avalon or a solara, or on rare occasions an MR2. no Supras :( unfortuntely i work on the lot side, not the service side. i only get to drive new deliveries to the dealership, so i wouldnt drive a serviced Supra even if we had one in.

i love working on mr2's, i did one on saturday, i back them into my lift for 2 reasons

1) engine is in the back, easier to work on
2) when i'm done and i pull it out i pop the clutch an drift out of my bay 90 degrees to head for the door :D hahaha
