View Full Version : Maryland making me sick?

Like some of you may know, I was away this past weekend visiting Ish (toymachine566). I spent the whole weekend up there feeling great and hanging out with him and everyone else and felt fine when I departed for home. I arrived here around 4:00pm and didn't do much the rest of the day except lounge around. Later in the evening, my stomach began to act up and feeling uncomfortable. No biggie, thought I'd feel better after some sleep. Fast forward to today, haven't been able to eat too much because my stomach just feels cramped/bloated/uncomfortable when I eat. Anyone who has hung out with me knows this is unusual because I usually eat alot! Haven't even been to the gym the last 3 days because its been so uncomfortable.
Now, this happened last time I left for a weekend and came back. Same type of symptoms (sp?) and went away after about a week. I wonder if its possible that something in this area is making me sick everytime I come back, or maybe its just in my head? Either way I found this to be odd.

I can elaborate as to why your feeling down in the dumps:
1. You drive a Hyundai
2. Your friends with Ish, enough said.
3. Why the **** wasn't I invited out?

I know why... (I to live in Maryland btw)
It is because its "Maryland" .. No other state but Kentucky and South Carolina are like that. It might be the smell of nothing but manure and chicken houses though i dunno.

Jim lives in the Boondocks. There is no smog out where he lives.

Maryland hates you..there's no other explanation.
Maybe it's a psychological thing..like the opposite of homesickness.

Sure sounds like something you ate. Or maybe it wasn't just one thing but rather a change in eating habits whenever you leave home? And then it catches up to you when you return? I don't know, just guessing. I've dealt with those kinds of problems myself and I too tend to eat a lot.
My solution...

Second that. My friend just got offered to be a big part of the mechanical team at the local VW/Pontiac dealership, and they are going to pay for his school to be a GM tech and crap.
I'm sure you could do the same at any of the dealers in the area.

Quite possibly, anytime I do talk to Jim he's not the happiest fellow, unless its laughing at how I can't even tighten a freaking alt...
